No, I haven't had that problem.  Here's a few things for you to check:

Make sure the path to the tftp server is via an inside interface; I doubt
whether the Pix will allow this type of connection over an outside
interface.

Have you tested your tftp server with some other client?  Does the file
you're trying to write already exist on the tftp server?  Does it have the
correct permissions.

On the tftpd on Aix, the file must exist (it can be empty) and have
permissions of 666:

-rw-rw-rw-   1 root     system      1920 Aug 01 20:05 wf-pix
