It took me a good part of a day to research the apps I use and get it set up
properly. As for apps dynamically changing ports, I haven't seen any. Of
course, I'm not a big fan of IM's/Napster/etc, mainly just http, ftp, ssh,
vpn, mail...

configuring Zone Alarm.. Can't some applications dynamically change their
ports when they are blocked from the normally used ones. Take for instance
American OnLine Instant Messenger or Yahoo Instant Messenger..
