I believe that you would probably be best off by running a VPN over the
connection. I have not worked with wireless myself, but this seems like the
way to go from what I know and have read about it. My understanding is that
currently WEP is quite easy to crack.

I could be mistaken, but I believe that some of the wireless stuff is
coming with built in VPN functionality, thought I saw something like that.

My employer and I have been discussing the option of purchasing a Lucent
Orinoco system to replace the current ADSL line between our two buildings,
which are only about half a mile apart, with a clear line of
site......However, I have very little experience with wireless, and I
understand WEP is easily cracked...does anyone on the list have any
