What resources, turn it on and use the same WEP password at both ends,
then forget about it. Yes WEP can be cracked, but not using it when it's
there is pointless, it just adds another layer of security.

Definately. You can also restrict MAC addresses on most access points,
wont stop snooping, but another step of making it more difficult for
someone to try and join the network, assuming they've cracked all the
VPN stuff too.
