Perhaps then you could explain why Microsoft recommends ISA server as the
migration path for MSP using customers, and talks about ISA in terms of
an upgrade from MSP?

For example:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/TechNet/prodtechnol/isa/proddocs/isadocs/CMT_Upgrade.asp

Key sentences:

Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server supports a full
migration path for Microsoft Proxy Server 2.0 users.

ISA Server introduces many new features and changes over Proxy Server 2.0.
These changes affect the server configuration and upgrade scenarios.

ISA is the replacement for MS Proxy, that makes it in line, MSP's
features were absorbed into ISA, that makes it in line, I'd put money on
some code migrating as well.
