I agree whole heartily. I have a ton of security experience and I am planning on taking the exam in July. I don't know any CISSP's at all (even casually). I am the only security person at my company. How on earth could they expect a total stranger to vouch for me? Why would not knowing a CISSP be a reason to disqualify you from getting certified?
