If there is no team and you are therefore the only one pushing to the Git remote, how would you benefit from having an automatic "git pull" executed for you? I can't think of a useful scenario, but it is far too hot today for my imagination to function properly. As for the network connection, I was thinking of working on business trips and in areas where one is not permitted to open any connection (data centers etc.).
