Kenny, Thanks for the information. That is what I understand from reading from the quick fix site. I assume if it is an application, you know, like tom-cat, usually just run the startup script , then the whole application is running and you throw everything in the autodeploy folder...... I think my question should be: is quickfix provide free OMS like other commercial FIX Engine? I think what I am looking for is the pre-configured logic like external configuration xml file that make my life easy. so it will take a while to set all ip address,proxy using quickfix api.... Then I understand why company pay for FIX Engine vendor to make their life easy. But, dont get me wrong, if it is a library, quickfix does have many feature already written , at least from what I read, but I just cannot find how to edit the configuration file like ULLink FIX Engine....
