Thanks for the details--and I know what you mean about trail riding/time/kids. My daughter is 11 months old. I actually take her with me on rides up to three hours (backpack), but if the weather is threatening to rain (which it does pretty much all the time here from Nov. to March :( ), I don't like to take her out. I don't want her to get soaked/chilled!
