As stated in a previous post, I'm not driving....yet.  But the symptoms sound 
familiar.  Have you checked her teeth?  If her teeth are okay, does she have 
a very low palate?  If so, you may want to change the type of bit.  I have a 
feeling your problem lies in her mouth, just from your description.
