Some are adamant some are not about their likes. If someone likes quarter horses and I have never wanted one that does not make me dislike their owners or them.
The way I see the discussion about crossbreeding is people's fears the breed might be corrupt. I think anyone can have what they want and you point out a perfect reason for having a cross. A crossbred is a horse and if people really love horses they will love a crossbreed as well. Do not take the remarks as aimed at you.
