No, it wasn't moving.
All fixed now through brute force. Even the rejigged movieclips had
problems with the currentFrame. With threeframes in a row, the
currentframe would be correct for two of the frames, but on the last it
would be the preceding frame. In the end had to hard-code all the frame
gotoAndStops.
