Do you outsource your work to developing countries? Is
there such a high demand for Flash overseas that there is a
need to outsource?
I don't know about now, but there will certainly be more Flash
outsourced in the future. Right now, Flash work gets outsourced to *me*, and
I outsource (subcontract) the .NET/Java/whatever backend work. Actually,
recently I've been recommending that people buy off the shelf
storefront/shopping cart/auction site/cms/etc packages that come with source
code, and I've been tweaking, skinning, and modifying them to the clients
needs. It's faster, easier, and cheaper for the client, while maintaining a
higher profit margin for me. I bill the clients 30% what a custom solution
would cost (plus the cost of the package), and do the work in 20% the time.
It keeps my weekends open. ;-)
