It doesn't appear to have been solved at all. Here is the tag from the example:
<IMG SRC="http://www.flashloaded.com/img/products/flashtexteditor/logo.jpg"; WIDTH="66" HEIGHT="61" ID="$img0" ALIGN="left" VSPACE="4" HSPACE="4"/> So, okay... when I wrote 'if you need a graphical emoticon to appear in mid-text anywhere' I meant horizontally between the left and right margins. You can place the tag wherever you like vertically (between the top and bottom of a page of text) but it will still be either left or right aligned.
