It's got nothing to do with the relative merits of the platforms, just something to do with the way Flash was developed. That said, things have improved considerably in recent versions of the Flash Player, believe it or not the difference used to be much more dramatic. It's hard to say what might be causing your particular issue without seeing the code. I will say that the ending animation seemed to run slow on my PC as well, and I don't see anything going on on the screen to justify that performance hit. Makes me think there's something in your code that is more intensive than it needs to be, regardless of platform.
