Basic list etiquette: reply only to the "Reply-to:" address.
You are assuming that the location has "404.html" in it, that is not
correct. The location is the location that you entered in the browser,
the location that did not exist.
For the base element, read up on it in your local html reference. It is
so simple that I can't be bothered explaining it in detail.
