i think the flash display API prevents the need for all of these additional concerns and extra classes outside of Models Views and Controllers
I also loathe Interfaces. the only time i use interfaces is to allow objects with two different class lineages to be used interchangeably. like a time that i needed AIR NativeWindows to be able to snap to DisplayObjects Ross P.
