What's the manufacturer and model of your mainboard?

It looks like your mainboard's flash is write protected. Thus flashrom
probably didn't write any changes. Try verifying your BIOS:

./flashrom -v backup.rom

In case "backup.rom" really contains your old BIOS backed up.
