Definately something with buffers.
Anyone knows a libftdi-dev version tested as working with flashrom?
I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 with libftdi-dev from it's repositories.

Hi,

Can you try a more recent build from SVN?

I've had similar spurious buffer issues with a ft2232 (from an openmoko debug board) which were fixed in r1228.

Cheers,
