Thanks Dave, works without hickup. Re Feldhell squelch, I support Jim's proposal to make that setting more smooth, i.e. I got to keep it at rock-bottom as the minimum moving upwards of the slider mutes feldhell reception. This is not a new observation, has always been that way so that I got used to it... 73 Fred DL6XAZ Date: Fri, 8 Jan 2010 16:36:20 -0600 (CST) From: Jim Haynes <[email protected]> Subject: Re: fldigi-3.13BP posted To: w1hkj <[email protected]> Cc: fldigi-alpha <[email protected]> Message-ID: <alpine.lfd.2.00.1001081628300.4...@localhost> Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; format=flowed; charset=US-ASCII
So far I've just done a quick check of the Windows version, and no surprises. One complaint - and this is probably not peculiar to the 3.13BP version - I wonder if the squelch action of Feld Hell could be improved. The green bar on the right end doesn't change much between receiving noise and receiving signal centered in the waterfall cursor, so it is touchy to make the squelch work at all. I guess that's no big deal since I'm not paying for the virtual paper tape that scrolls across the screen.
