Further to that, now I'm on the 8503.9 frequency and I notice that tuning to 8502.0 puts the top frequency about 2.26 KHz. And causes the dropping out of fax reception into the situation where it needs skip sync and skip apt to start receiving, repeatedly. So I have set the receiver to 85019.6 which puts the top frequency right on 2.3 KHz on the waterfall and it seems to be stable receiving with it that way. So is my receiver off frequency or is it the transmitter? And should the top frequency being a little low cause the repeated dropout of reception and requiring skip sync and skip apt to be pushed?
