Signals on the frequencies are often also RTTY 850; same station, too. The FAX and RTTY alternates for some stations.

I just tried it on the station on 12789.9 published frequency by setting my receiver frequency to 12788.0 USB. I could receive a little fax, but it kept dropping to the "skip phasing" and "skip APT" buttons. To get it to receive continuously I had to mistune to 12787.9 or 12788.1 I did a test by receiving WWV and observing with audio frequencies on the waterfall that the frequencies are correct: e.g. the 500 and 600 hz tones and 1 KHz tone are all at the right places on the waterfall. Right now the fax signal has gone away, replaced by a voice announcement, so I can't continue testing. Am I correct that the mouse cursor is meaningingless in wefax mode? Could it be made to disappear?
