Here's an idea for the development team based on some recent
experiences. For use on repeaters, we have to be very careful of longer
messages/data with regard to repeater timeouts, which are usually set to
2 or 3 minutes. Also, some of our ops on HF, including myself, have
underestimated the amount of time it takes to send larger messages or
spreadsheets on a given mode.
So, would it be possible to have FLDIGI provide a calculations (via
pop-up or separate display button) in min/sec once a file is dropped
into the tx window?
