I do not think the flipping of the VFO's has anything to do with RigCAT or HamLib. It seems to be an fldigi issue between fldigi-3.21.4 and fldigi-3.22.0AA. I just tired it again and fldigi-3.21.4 commands the TS-590S VFO-A, but does not communicate at all with VFO-B. I quit fldigi-3.21.4 and launched 3.22.0AA with VF0-A still active on the Kenwood display and there was no communications with VFO-A. The QSY button changes fldigi on the waterfall, but does not change the TS-590S. I then depressed the A/B button on the TS-570S to make VFO-B active and fldigi-3.22.0AA commands the rig and the QSY button functions normal as long as VF0-B is active. I am posting this response to the alpha list to see if this weirdness shows up in other setups. I cannot explain the flipping of VFO's between two versions of fldigi. The inability of fldigi to detect and command the active VFO is a limitation to fldigi/Kenwood TS-590S users. Hopefully, this shortfall can be corrected in the future. 73 Dick AA5VU _______________________________________________ fldigi-alpha mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/fldigi-alpha
