My wish has been granted with the new TX Attenuator added by Dave on 4-June-2011 I could not figure out the shortcut on the Mac; however, the slider under Fldigi configuration/Audio/TxLevel works perfect. I cranked in -10.0 Tx Atten (db) and now have the OS X System Preferences/Sound/Output panel Output volume at 41%. Before having the fldig TX Attenuator, I had to run the OS X Output volume to the far left that was close to being OFF. I am now showing zero ALC on the TS-590's S-Meter and at close to full power on the external power meter at 50.300 MHz. I don't think I will QRM anyone testing on six meters. I still need to do some more testing on other bands. Base on this smoke test I think the new TX attenuator is going to be a nice addition to fldigi. Thanks Dave! 73 Dick AA5VU On Jun 4, 2011, at 1:27 PM, w1hkj wrote: http://www.w1hkj.com/alpha/fldigi/ > > > 3.21.11 includes the following changes from 3.21.11 > > TX Attenuator > * Added Tx attenuator control to Audio configuration tab > * Added main dialog short cut keys for tx attenuator control > alt - ==> decrease by 0.1 dB > alt = ==> increase by 0.1 dB > > 73, Dave, W1HKJ > _______________________________________________ fldigi-alpha mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/fldigi-alpha
