The ordering doesn't really seem to matter. Having to use mode CW seems
a bit weird though. What exactly get transmitted in the other modes when
you have <TX><RX> back to back ?

with 20 dB of noise, the decoding is awful. I have to raise the squelch
a lot (normally is down to 2-3, had to raise it over 10) to decode
properly. 

CPU usage when the decoder is enabled is barely different to when it's
not.  Maybe 1-2 % more.  (single core/thread cpu)
