Thanks Utkarsh and Hissam for your response. [image: https://mail.google.com/mail/images/cleardot.gif]Utkarsh :- We got the requirements few days ago still discussions are going on and there is no design document.
Hissam : Really that is good idea keeping one swf file and playing with wrapper classes . To tell you the truth we have several teams in my company which work with Microsft Silver light, Grails frameworks and Flex . Silver Light was ruled out because still only 40% of the World computers has silver light installed ( Of course the the team was not enough to give valid reasons ) . Now the tough fight going between HTML ( I think version 4 or 5 ) along with Grails framework and flex teams :) The other team is stressing on these points Since HTML is more searchable on the internet ( since the topics gives very useful info like 6th sense technologies or Blood cells or what every may be ) and there are very handy templates available ( Like Joomla , Drupal , Wordperss or whatever may be) It is easy to implement . I tried checking these frameworks but looks like they don't cover this kind of scenarios and have to build the application from end to end . Again not searchable in Internet was long ago story and we have proofs that SWF files are serachable in Google and Yahoo ( http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer/articles/swf_searchability.html) any comments on this. But again check this link http://stackoverflow.com/questions/63232/how-to-make-flex-ria-contents-accessible-to-search-engines-like-google Since the data volume can be 50 pages per topic ( I mean per a URL) It will be good if we have HTML . Managing large text in flex is not a good idea ( why not ?? ) I have given the link for Flex http://anirudhsasikumar.net/examples/readefine/ ( but of course uses flex 4 ) . Flex application size will be more compared to HTML ( I can not do any thing for this ) not sure what more they come up :) Sorry for big mail and thanks for suggestions .
