Hi, First stop reading Flex 4 Bible and go through the following url's http://www.adobe.com/devnet-archive/flex/tourdeflex/web/ http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/html/ http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/videotraining.html and go through some basics on flex which is there in above url's and start a sample project with flex and java.
