It seems to me there is a lot of speculation about Apollo, based on very little actual knowledge. All this speculation of "Apollo must have x feature" seems premature.
I don't Grok Apollo and don't expect to until there is an actual product available or some documentation to read. Why would I want to deploy a web app to the desktop? The concept of partially connected applications was intriguing 10+ years ago, when you were only connected in the office. Lotus Notes already implemented the partially connected app thing wonderfully. These days the only time you aren't connected is on an airplane. Is Apollo = partially connected apps? I don't know, but that's my best interpretation to date. Is Apollo something beyond partially connected apps? I have no idea.
