I was just reading Ted Patrick's blog and i was a bit surprised to see that Sun has just announced its RIA platform, called JavaFX.
http://java.sun.com/javafx/ First of all, i wasn't expecting Sun to do something like this, maybe i just missed the clues that pointed to this, but seriously i didn't see this one coming. So now we have a new player, which on my personal opinion considering the position of Java in the market, might bring some good and sane competition to this game called RIA. What you people think about this? I agree with Ted when he says that the big players have finally realized the importance of RIAs today. Diego
