Set allowDragSelection and allowMultipleSelection to true?

This would work like the day view within Outlook calendar. By dragging over rows you can select multiple rows to insert tasks etc. Has anyone any suggestions on what I would need to change on the list? Perhaps you have done or seen something similar?
