phew... I finally got the V1 version working thanks to Alex's help, Peter Ent's blog, and Doug Mccune's code on Flexlib.
I'd love to get any comments on what anyone thinks and how this might be improved both design and code-wise. The other cool thing is the way the menu cascades tweens instead of tweening both containers at the same time like the accordion. I've never liked that for some reason. Things I still plan on doing: 1. implement the rest of the dataProvider functionality. Only works with XMLLists right now 2. More organic scrolling stop. I have this working, but it's commented out as there are a few rendering issues that need to be solved. 3. resize on parent application resize.
