Art,

I still have the problem with SVN #3520. What conditions did you test with?
VFO freq? Mode? Filter edges? Etc.?

Subject: [FlexEdge] Close to Band Edge TX Bug - SVN #3529

The fix to allow operation close to the band edge apparently is no longer
working correctly.

Running PB-PAL SVN #3529 under Vista Home Premium (32-bit)

Situation:

Mode:  RTTY (DIGL)
VFO:  10.150000 MHz
TX Filter:  -2460 to -1960

Try to transmit & everything works as expected.

Change VFO frequency to 10.150001 MHz.  Try to transmit & you get the
following result:

1.  The text below the VFO readout says "Out of Band" in green letters.
2.  The radio goes into transmit mode & appears to send the message.
3.  The panadapter properly displays the "transmitted" signal.
4.  There is no power output.

You do not get the warning box saying your filter settings plus the VFO
frequency are out of the band.  That only appears if you raise the VFO
frequency up until the bandpass of the filter extends above 10.150 MHz.

This used to work correctly.  Speculation:  Could this be an unintended
consequence of adding ALC to the digital modes?

Does anyone else see this behavior?  If so, I will enter a bug report.
