Me too. But requirements and architecture/design docs are needed first. There are a number of us who've been asking for proper architecture and/or design documentation for the software for years. To ME a solid architecture forms the foundation for a product that'll be both maintainable and modifiable for years into the future. Without product requirement and architecture documents, a comprehensive architecture review is exceptionally difficult -- and without an architecture review, there's no way for ANYone (including the software architect, designers and implementers) to know that the architecture is sound, fully developed, and will result in an implementation that meets the product requirements.
