You could use DDUtil to display voltage and temperature even if you
didn't use its other features.

So I guess one needs another "Contest Disable Shortcuts" box to disable
frequency change shortcuts only...
That way I can leave it permanently checked and still have access to the
alternative forms.
BTW...the real problem with the shortcuts is the letter "N" which lowers the
frequency if you have the wrong focus.
