Also attached are the 2 files with in the 2.0.0.2.7 directory. The readme
only indicates up to version 2.0.2.2; However the Bin file as you can see is
2.0.2.7

Where do you see this? There has not been a v2.0.2.7 firmware release and
further more the PowerSDR 2.x Integrated Installer does not have the
capability to install firmware.

Check the firmware version by opening the FLEX Firewire control panel, click
on the firmware Loader button and the click the box that says Show Details.
It should show app:2.0.2.2 for the FLEX-5000

What does yours say?

I noticed my firmware is now 2.0.2.7

Rig is a 5000.
