OK. I have figured out the mystery.

If you ran the PowerSDR v2.0.6 Integrated Installer using the COMPLETE option, you did in fact get a new version of firmware for the FLEX-5000 loaded in the FLEX Firmware folder. It is version 2.0.2.7. It was an oversight that there were no release notes provided with the firmware. If you ran the installer using the CUSTOM option, you did not get the new firmware installed (this is an installer bug that will get fixed). I used the CUSTOM install option so that is why I did not have it on my test systems.

FLEX-5000 firmware 2.0.2.7 is for supporting the upcoming FLEX-VU5K module and it is *NOT* required to run this version of PowerSDR unless you are a FLEX-5KVU hardware beta tester. If you have loaded it, it should not cause any problems with your FLEX-5000.

Hi @ll

1st mni tnx for all the work with the 2.0.6.
Works fine for me in my first tests-qso's

If you need a firmware update, PowerSDR 2.x will tell you so...
ok, i am running 2.0.2.2 and no advice from the installer but i found a 2.0.2.7 Firmware in the "My Documents" directory. Is it useful to update on my Flex 5000A?

And a second thing. I am sure i did not choose the Flex-1500 Driver in the installer menue. But now i find the Flex Radio USB Kernel Driver in my device manager :-)

Ok, lets do more than 1K QSOs in the IOTA contest, not playing the whole time with the radio setup, hihi
