Tim, My computer is much higher end than required for the FLEX-1500. I use a Gateway SX2800-07 Core 2 Quad with 4 GB RAM and Windows 7-64 that cost me $500 a year ago. I can run the FLEX-1500 with 128 sample buffers and FLEX-5000 with two receivers running at 192 KHz and 512 sample buffers simultaneously without breathing hard. It is way overkill for a 1500.
