The 1500 will work amazing well on very low end systems (ATOM

same USB controller as your mouse and/or keyboard, as they will
interfere with the isochronous I/Q data flow between the radio and
PowerSDR.

When I ran the USB checker program on my Dell laptops, I find 2
different USB hubs. One of them appears to be used for internal
purposes - e.g,. hard drive? The other hub is connected to all 3
external USB ports. Hence, there is no chance that one could avoid
the same USB hub as used by the Flex-1500.
I suppose an external PCMCIA-style plugin card might be used, with it
furnishing another USB hub? I don't know.
The only difference between the 3 external USB ports is the order in
which they are presented to the USB hub.
