Ed, I see CW problems with 2.0.16 using an external keyer! Sometimes the rig hesitates on keying, with an irritating noise in the monitor. There are pops and other noise in the transition from Xmit to Receive. Other times there are problems in the middle of a character string, the dits and dahs are cutoff or distorted. I just changed from 1.18.6 where there were few CW issues with a keyer. I would like to stay with the beta software but it makes operating a problem. This comes in the wake of excellent receive latency results. I used my usual method of measuring the delay in arrival of beacon signals from expect propagation delay. The results ranged from 40ms at 192khz sampling, to 96ms at 48khz sampling.
