Martha would probably have a knitted cover for her 5000, plus flowers sticking out of any unused "holes" on the bumpy-side. Plus she would be baking cookies from the heat of her 3-500Zs, all the while calling CQ DX.
Amateur Radio and Egg Nogg, I agree, are a good combo, if not used in excess. Unfortunately, I have not found that point in either venue. 73 Larry ----- Original Message ----- From: Brian Lloyd To: Larry Otto Cc: William H. This once highly technical reflector that used to reverberate with conversations of DPCs, Buffers, databases, CPU usage, et al, has degenerated into TRADING RECIPIES??? Maybe someone should call Martha Stewart and see if she wants to get her ham licence? Well, one thing is for certain, you can bet her shack will look better than mine! I wonder if she will turn her 5000 around backwards so that the bumpy-bits are facing the wall? (I'll have to try this one, but seems a bit much for me to drink all at once) Well, then don't drink it all at once. Just keep sipping for many hours. It will help you maintain that warm, happy, holiday feeling even though listening to 75m phone. (Did you notice how readily I dovetailed egg nog and amateur radio? You can do it too!) -- Brian Lloyd, WB6RQN/J79BPL 3191 Western Dr. Cameron Park, CA 95682 [email protected] +1.767.617.1365 (Dominica) +1.916.877.5067 (USA) _______________________________________________ Flexedge mailing list [email protected] http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexedge_flex-radio.biz This is the FlexRadio Systems e-mail Reflector called FlexEdge.
