I agree that a rack shelf is an easy answer. But I would assume that the
principal reason for wanting to rack mount the 5000A is to induce big time
envy in the folks who want such a mod so their 6000 series radios will "look
serious, professional and industrial." And that will require some more
work! Never forget that "moving" a 5000A with full complement of cables is
nothing to be taken lightly! Especially not when you have to have a "loop"
of slack to allow even a slight change in position!
By the way, Parts Express is a really good company. I have been dealing
with them for over ten years for audio equipment!
