I'm not sure I understand the question. Fwsync and flexwikipad are both separate products. FlexWikiPad in particular isn't part of the FlexWiki project at all. I wrote it, and I did this on purpose. :) Anyway, as both are open source with fairly liberal licenses, you're welcome to distribute them more or less however you see fit. Does that answer the question? > 2. will fwsync in cooperation with flexwiki pad :) runs under database > as storage? i mean, how the mapping of the data to the database tables > would be... If you use fwsync to sync with an installation of FlexWikiPad, then it doesn't matter if the namespace on the server is stored in the filesystem, a database, or somewhere else - it should just work. The one usage that's not really supported is to use flexwikipad directly against a database. But then again it's not really meant to be used directly against the filesystem store that a FlexWiki web app manages. Some people do that, but the problem is that FlexWikiPad doesn't maintain history the way FlexWiki does. > by the way, what one release version can you recommend if we are > looking for these: support for sql 2005, read/write access to some > topics (can be by namespace), import pages feature (like this fwsync :) > ) ? If you can be happy with only two of those three, then you can use FlexWiki 1.8 or the current beta build of 2.0, depending on which one you're willing to give up. But having all three is going to require FlexWiki 2.0 Beta 2, which is not out yet. I'm very very close to done with it, though. Just yesterday I was fixing a problem with the administration tools related to SQL Server - the code is actually complete. So hopefully within a week you'll see an announcement that Beta 2 is ready to go. If you watch here, you might be able to get SQL support a few days early. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
