Yes, of course. You are kind of biased, though - given what you want to do with the sim. The scene - no matter which direction you look, is still almost entirely dominated by buildings. Aircraft even blend in with buildings. It's almost pointless to stick aircraft in there when we don't even have a tower, yet.
