OK, I found the problem. FGFS (actually WeatherCM) reqests the weatherdata (to fill up an internal cache) with an initial altitude of roughly -3040 meters (-9999 feet?). This breaks the internal lookup. After adding a sanity check that part works again :) I've sent the changes to Curt.
