That's exactly what YASim does, too. In fact, this is provably OK. The way pilots (real and auto-) use trim is to adjust it slowly until they see the desired effect. Given this, there's no need to over-model; so long as the trim is monotonic in the effect, it doesn't matter how it scales. Andy -- Andrew J.
