Yes, I liked that a lot in Battle of Britain. From what I've read, pilots can feel when they're in uncoordinated flight -- they don't usually have to watch the ball much once they have some flying experience. Moving the head a bit gives some useful sensory feedback for computer users (Alex has also suggested some audio feedback from the propeller).
