I figured that I'd take the pictures myself at whatever resolution makes sense. It's a good excuse to go flying. :-) So, assuming that I have a TIFF or a JPEG, where do I go next? I couldn't figure out what image format was used in the KSJC-Photo-2.0.tar.gz archive(w122n37). I also noticed that the image appears to be divided into segments of around 789k. What format are the images in? Is this something that I can do with The Gimp and a text editor? Is there a prebuilt tool for segmenting the image and aligning them with the other scenery? > Perhaps we should rename the Bonanza from the "fork-tailed doctor > killer" to the "fork-tailed geek swatter," or something similar; after I'm struggling to get the down payment together for a Cessna 150... Flightgear is a lot cheaper! -Luke -- Luke Scharf, Jack of Several Trades http://www.ccm.ece.vt.edu/~lscharf _______________________________________________ Flightgear-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-devel
