According to http://www.csd.uwo.ca/~pettypi/elevon/baugher_other/tsr2.html the TSR.2 should have been quite 'speedy' and when you look at the weight, then you realize that these are two totally different aircrafts. The TSR.2 has an empty weight of about 20 tons, this is the range of an F-14 !!
