The lates CVS version of the base package and FlightGear *and* a complete recompile gives me a running F-16 here.
Try the X-15, the C-310, and the C-172, as well.

I've always thought that there should be at least a minimal set of regression tests run before anything is committed to any CVS.
Well, obviosuly I can't test everything when comitting a change like this. Eevn if it's just because I don't have all the hardware to test with (heck, my O2 doesn't even support joysticks).
It was already a hughe task to get this stuff in, and thanks to David it worked out quite a bit faster. And I don't think it's fair to demand a painles recompile of the *developers* version of FlightGear every minute of the day.
